Ever since I received my mission call to Taiwan, I have begun to LOVE the Asian people! Friends and family continually make fun of me as my massive smile and lit up eyes creepily follow unsuspecting and adorable Asian families anywhere I see them. I always say, "Look! My people!", and even though the phrase is meant to be a happily funny phrase - I SO mean it. My people! In a few short weeks I will be serving them with every little bit of strength that this little 5'4" body can muster... which isn't much but thank goodness God will be helping, right??!! I think the Asian people are wonderful with their beautiful smiles, fine, dark eyes, and happy personalities. They are some of the most loyal, quirky, disciplined, and incredible people on the planet- and I get to learn from them! So, here's to my people... who are frequently very weirded out by my over-exuberant waves and too-eager smiles. (I promise I'm nice!!)
